We serve the needs of village and town communities in the heart of Eden District, the Lake District and Weardale Valley, areas traditionally known for farming and tourism. Many of our shops have additional facilities such as a Post Office, cash machine or library service.
The Penrith Co-operative operates a free home delivery service * for foods from all our shops, and for all items in our department store, eg beds, furniture, carpets, electrical and cookware. Place orders in the shop or by letter, phone, fax or email - Contact us.
Penrith department store and supermarket @19 Burrowgate now open on Sundays from 10am until 4pm, and from 8am until 8pm for the rest of the week. For free food delivery from Penrith, please order on 01768 860770 between 09.30 am and 11.00 am.
